Molly Layton

Molly completed her studies at Farnham College of Art – Hampshire in 2016. In 2017 – wishing to further explore the fundamental skills of a true artist – she undertook an intensive course in Drawing Painting and Art History at The Florence Academy of Art in Italy.

Alongside painting she has been working in the art department for Buffalo Pictures and Bandit(a film production company) painting originals to be used in the the recent series of Doc Martin and an up coming police drama.

Molly is at the beginning of her career as an artist but clearly shows huge talent and a wonderfully sophisticated understanding of colour, form and technique. She is influenced  by artists such as Lucien Freud, Maggie Hambling and Jenny Saville. Her current seascapes subtley mix muted colours to create a soft but distinctive emotional atmosphere.

Animals

Molly has developed a range of captivating animal paintings featuring 2 or more animals standing on top of each other. These are available to commission incorporating favourite animals or family pets.
